Ramoji’s Emotional Letter to Eenadu Group Employees

One would have heard of a father leaving behind a will for his children but Eenadu Group chairman wrote a will to the employees in his organisations. Ramoji Rao passed away on Saturday morning due to age-related problems.

He wrote a will to the employees and it has been released now.

The issues mentioned in the will are not only beneficial to the employees but would also be a guiding light to the managers in the organisations. It will also reveal why employees feel connected with the Group’s organisations. It is learnt that the will is quite lengthy and only a few important issues have been mentioned here.

“Clouds come floating into my life from other days no longer to shed rain or usher storm but to give colour to my sunset sky….” by Viswakavi Rabindranath Tagore are ringing in my mind. Getting inspired by sunshine and waxing my creativity skills with the same speed as the horses of Lord Sun’s chariot, I had been working for the last few decades. Now, I remember Tagore’s words.

Change is the only thing constant in life. Change is the only truth and my mind keeps churning new ideas and concepts every moment. The bid to make my life fruitful is prompting me to write this letter to you.

It can be considered as an action plan for the future. This should be the guiding force for all the employees in Eenadu Group’s organisations. All the organisaitons took shape from my ideas only but have grown strong and robust only with your support and discipline.

I know many employees who have dedicated their lives for their profession. Working in Ramoji Group organisaitons is not just a status symbol but would also inculcate the principles of discipline, punctuality and giving the best at the workplace. I am proud of having been associated with such employees.

The only principle which I had believed in the last few decades is “nothing is impossible if we work hard”. All my organisations are linked with people’s needs directly and also utilized human resources in ample quantity. At Eenadu organisations, talent is always respected and encouraged. I express my sincere thanks to all those employees who helped my in realizing my ideas. I always aim at perfection, never would I settle for the second grade, in any aspect.

It is with the same aspiration that I had lit the candle of my life on both sides and tried to shape and streamline every organization, from Margadarsi to ETV Bharat. I always aimed at hoisting the Telugu community’s flag atop the highest peak throughout my life.

I wish that all the organisations and the system founded by me would live for eternity. I had laid a strong foundation to support 25,000 employees directly and another 25,000 indirectly through the Eenadu organisations and would like you to strive to keep them flourishing.

I hope that all the employees would continue to uphold and preserve the values with which the organisations were established and help in increasing the reputation of the Ramoji organisations. It is with your support that I had accomplished many goals. Ramoji employees are known for their discipline. Let your journey be two-pronged– doing good to yourself and also to the organization, and transform yourself into a warrior. Ramoji Group is reputed for the trust it has gained so far and as employees of these organisations, I entrust you the task to be responsible and continue the legacy of the Group in the future.
