One of the most affected women in the state during the five-year regime that was ended by the people’s mandate recently is none other than Nara Bhuvaneshwari, wife of TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu. When Naidu was sent to jail on a false case, she broke down literally, as she wasn’t even allowed to the jail in the beginning.
To see Bhuvaneswari on the stage at the oath-taking ceremony of Nara Chandrababu Naidu is not just a happy moment, but an emotional moment where people’s trust in Naidu, and the TDP supremo’s dedication to society gave perfect payback. None other than Nandamuri Balakrishna showcased that emotion for real on the stage as he went up to Bhuvaneswari, after her arrival, and planted a kiss on her forehead.
Nothing, no words exchanged, but this one kiss says it all. Today, she would be the proud woman, not just all of her family members who have contested have won the election, but her husband has created a record of sorts by winning peoples’ mandate like never before.
