There have been long-standing allegations about the illegal encroachment at YS Jagan’s house in Lotus Pond, Hyderabad. But there has been no consolidated action till now as no CM thus far has taken any action on this.
But today, for the first time, Telangana’s CM Revanth Reddy has dared to touch Jagan’s palace-like construction at the famous “Lotus Pond” in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Reportedly, the security arrangements put in place in front of Jagan’s house in Lotus Pond are dismantled by the GHMC.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) demolished illegal structures in front of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence in Lotus Pond today. The unauthorized constructions, intended for Jagan’s security, had encroached upon the road, causing public inconvenience.
Allegedly, these encroachments in front of Jagan’s house were causing public inconvenience and traffic hassles. The Revanth Reddy government which is unfazed by Jagan ordered the demolition of these encroachments near his residence. These establishments that were built by encroaching the public roa which were causing hassles all these days have been eradicated.
While Jagan’s supporters argue that these arrangements are needed for his safety, the locals and resident say this action is needed to ensure better public access to this road which is a public property. For whatever reason, CM Revanth has dared to touch the Lotus Pond which remained untouchable all these years regardless of Jagan being in power or not.
