It’s Revenge Time For Kodela?

Published by

Six-time MLA from Narsaraopeta assembly constituency and former speaker of AP assembly, Kodela Siva Prasad Rao died a harassed death. The newly formed YCP government i 2019 labeled him as a “Furniture thief” by saying he kept the furniture that was procured for AP assembly at his house. Shortly after, the renowned politician committed suicide, later his son Siva Rama Krishna said YCP’s harassment led his father to take the drastic situation.

As time passed, fate has played its card. Sadly for Jagan, the “Furniture thief” tag has been strangled around his neck. TDP and Janasena activists are so very proactive about this tag that the #FurnitureDongaJagan hashtag trended big time on Twitter from yesterday.

The story behind this is that TDP leaders are alleging that Jagan reportedly procured the most luxurious of furniture to furnish his swanky camp office at the expense of the state exchequer. It is alleged that ex CM Jagan even procured British furniture that cost a fortune.

The furniture was billed to the state exchequer and these luxurious items are currently being used at the camp office, which Jagan turned into YCP head office now. Using such costly furniture that was bought with public’s money, at a private capacity has kept Jagan in the wrong news now.

Now, Kodela Siva Rama Krishna has made the most of the occasion as he raised a complaint with the government, demanding a probe on Jagan. He said his father was harassed for a default that he didn’t commit and he is asking similar treatment for Jagan now. He also pointed out that Jagan laid a public road in Tadepalli totalling to 1.5 KM and later made it a private road which was solely used by himself.
