It is an established predicament that Chandrababu Naidu is a hardworking administrator who likes to set firm deadlines for projects and complete them on time. He appears to have applied this principle for the capital region of Amaravati now and this is going to be a significant development in connection with the capital area.
Urban Development Minister Narayana has made a strong statement on Amaravati as he announced that the TDP government plans to complete the Amaravati project in a span of the next 2-2.5 years. This essentially means that the commander-in-chief Chandrababu Naidu has set a 30-month deadline for the completion of the Amaravati project.
The current plan of action is that the assessment of infrastructure and development activities at Amaravati will be done in the next 2-3 months. Narayana revealed that once the assessment is done, the final call on the tendering process will be taken and the infra-construction proposition will be commenced subsequently.
It can be understood that the TDP-led government plans to complete the infra-development job in under 30 months and then start the investment-attraction plan. If all goes well, Amaravati could have the infrastructure and amenities to be the capital in the next 30 months and the growth-engine establishment phase could be commencing immediately after. It must be noted that the TDP government would aim to make Amaravati a functional capital by the end of its tenure.
