The opulent ‘Rushikonda Palace’, which was built by the previous government in Andhra Pradesh behind closed doors by splurging crores of money, has become the cynosure of the entire nation ever since the local leaders representing the NDA alliance barged into it and revealed the visuals.
In no time, the palace became the eye of the storm and became a hot topic in political circles for its lavishness at the cost of government exchequer.
As national media has been going gaga over this sumptuous property, the luxurious amenities, high-quality furnishings and grand interiors have left everyone agape.
Surprisingly, Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu got a bumper offer for this building from none another than notorious conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar who is currently jailed in Tihar.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who was arrested few years ago after facing numerous charges of financial frauds, has the habit of writing sensational letters from jail on various occasions. The latest one is another such incident.
As per media reports, Sukesh wrote a letter to CM Naidu and requested to sell the Rushikonda palace for 20% higher price than the current market value. He asked to consider his letter as a letter of intent and sell the property to him with no further consultations.
In the alleged letter, Sukesh said he has a very special connection with Vizag as it is the native of his grandmother and added that he visited the city several times. He also requested the CM to sell or lease the property if at all there are any plans on the part of the government. He further added that he is only facing allegations but no charges are proved on him till now.
Though the authenticity of Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s sensational letter on Rushikonda palace is not yet known, this news is currently viral on all leading media platforms in Telugu States. The government hasn’t yet responded on this issue so far.
