The entire focus of the Telugu states, particularly Andhra Pradesh is on the Rushikonda Palace that has been erected on the grassy banks of Rushikonda Hill. The ousted CM of AP, Jagan Mohan Reddy is under the pump for this super costly construction that cost the state exchequer over Rs 500 crores.
In connection with this swanky building, a new media report has started to trend big time and it is in relation to a designer named Supriya Reddy.
As per Telugu media reports, Supriya Reddy is a distant relative of Jagan Mohan Reddy and she is the one who designed the interiors of the Rushikonda building. Reportedly, a whopping Rs 120 crore was spent solely on the interior works which is a mighty number by all means.
Apparently, the most lavish interiors were imported and assembled for the building and all this money came from the pocket of the state government.
The extremely lavish spending on this Rushikonda Palace has kept Jagan in bad press even in national media as outlets like Republic TV and Times Now are also faulting him for misusing public’s money to such a grave extent.
