Earlier, the YCP government tried to spin corruption narrative on Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh through AP Skill scam, fiver grid, Amaravati Ring Road, and other cases.
Naidu was even arrested in an attempt to strengthen this case. But the attempt failed miserably as the AP public turned it down and elected Naidu as CM.
Now that the alliance has come to power through Chandrababu Naidu, the new government has planned a consolidated campaign corruption allegations against Jagan during his time as CM.
Reportedly, Chandrababu is planning on releasing 8 white papers on the corruption and financial irregularities that happened over the last five years in YCP’s tenure. These 8 papers will belong to as many departments which saw extreme corruption in the last five years.
A committee of minister including Payyavula Keshav and Nadendla Manohar would be formed to formulate the white papers with all the data related to the financial fraud.
This topic could come to discussion in the cabinet meeting that is happening today and the final call on the materialisation of the same could be taken shortly.
Jagan is already having to deal with Rushikonda Palace and the construction of YCP officer across the country. These white papers on the corruption during his time as the CM could add to his woes.
It is expected that these papers will be in relation to key departments like liquor policy, sand policy, housing scheme, and others.
