Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is on the job of settling things at the Delhi Airport. A roof collapsed at Terminal 1 of Delhi airport in the early morning, and one cab driver lost his life. Four more people were injured in the incident.
The incident took place at 5.30 AM, and the relief activities are currently being taken care of. Ram Mohan Naidu, who recently took charge as the minister, is personally overseeing the relief activities at the location.
“Personally monitoring the roof collapse incident at T1 Delhi Airport. First responders are working at site. Also advised the airlines to assist all affected passengers at T1. The injured have been evacuated to hospital. Rescue operations are still ongoing,” he tweeted and later, sharing the pictures from the terminal, he wrote, “Inspecting the T1 Terminal and reviewing with the officials. All required rescue operations are being conducted at the terminal.”
The government declared compensation of Rs 20 lakh for the deceased and Rs 3 lakh for the injured in response to the Delhi airport incident.
The other day, the roof collapsed at Jabalpur airport and today, it happened at the National capital due to rains. Ram Mohan Naidu has a job to do and bring the crisis under control. We have to see if he would efficiently handle the issue.
