It is known that AP’s ex-Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was dealt with a shocker of sorts recently after his house in Lotus Pond, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad was touched by the GHMC. The illegal encroachments in front of Jagan’s Lotus Pond house, which were supposedly erected for security arrangements were demolished by the GHMC.
Immediately after this happened, many YCP leaders pointed fingers at CM Revanth Reddy and said he commissioned the GHMC to touch Lotus Pond to please Chandrababu. When this point was brought up in front of Revanth while he was on his Delhi tour, he gave a straightforward answer.
“Chandrababu garu doesn’t have the need to make me do something of that sort. He is not such a cheap-minded person. He is a very mature politician and is never reliant on such vindictive politics. Incidentally, it was one of our own ministers who instigated the GHMC to carry out the clean-up action in front of Jagan’s house. I then reprimanded the GHMC official and sent him out. There is no political motive behind this” Revanth confirmed.
Revanth further added that Jagan’s uncle YV Subba Reddy called the concerned Telangana minister some 50 times to stop the demolition but there was no respite.
Now that Revanth has clarified that neither himself nor Chandrababu had any intention of doing something of that sort, doubts are being raised about the Telangana minister who actually ordered GHMC to touch the Lotus Pond residence.
