Published by

Venkaiah Naidu, a former Vice President of India, has been celebrated as an inspiration by Prime Minister Modi on the occasion of his birthday. Modi virtually launched three books about Naidu’s life, highlighting his journey from a grassroots BJP leader to Vice President, a proud achievement for Telugu people.

During the virtual event in Gachibowli, Modi praised Naidu’s integrity and described him as a person whose life serves as a source of motivation for many. The books released include titles such as ‘Sevalo Venkaiahnaidu’s Life’, ‘Venkaiahnaidu’s Mission and Message as the 13th Vice President’, and ‘Mahaneta Venkaiahnaidu’s Life and Journey’. Modi emphasized that these books will inspire and provide guidance to people.

Modi recalled his long association with Naidu, noting his resilience during the 17-month period of Emergency when he was jailed. Naidu’s contributions as Union Minister in the Rural Urban Development Department were also highlighted, along with his renowned oratory skills.

During the event, Naidu expressed appreciation for the central government’s initiative to promote regional languages while maintaining respect for English. He praised Modi’s leadership with the slogan of reform, perform, and transform. Naidu also emphasized the importance of elected leaders behaving responsibly and maintaining integrity, advocating for voting based on merit rather than factors like caste or wealth. He stressed the need for accountability in politics and encouraged ethical conduct among politicians.
