A shocking incident related to Chandrababu’s house in Kuppam has belatedly attained limelight. It is now unearthed that shockingly Rs 1.8 lakh bribe was taken to allot necessary jurisdictions to the house plot that was acquired by Chandrababu Naidu.
Earlier, when Naidu was the opposition leader of AP, he bought a piece of land in the Sivapuram area of Kuppam, and the deputy surveyor, Saddam Hussain played an ugly game with this. He allegedly took Rs 1.8 lakh bribe from the local TDP leaders to assign the land under subdivision category which was required to build a house there.
This incident came to light when Chandrababu toured Kuppam on the 25th and 26th of June after becoming the CM and this was brought to his notice. He vowed to take action on this matter.
An investigation was commissioned internally and it was later identified that the deputy surveyor is a habitual offender and he took bribes from commoners as well. On this grounds, he was suspended from duties immediately.
A deputy surveyor taking a bribe of Rs 1.8 lakh to regularize the land that was legally bought by the opposition leader of the state shows the kind of lackluster administration that was going on earlier.
