Revanth Reddy Accepts Chandrababu’s Proposal

Earlier, Telangana’s new CM Revanth Reddy expressed discontentment with Jagan Mohan Reddy for not making a courtesy call after he got elected as the CM. This showed the degree of strained relations between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments some two months ago.

But things have changed completely now with two like-minded forces heading the TDP+ government in AP and the Congress government in Telangana. In accordance, a major political coming together has been agreed upon by the two of them.

Chandrababu earlier called for a formal meeting with Revanth to sort out the pending issues and administrative differences between the two governments and this has now been approved by the Telangana CM.

CM Revanth invited Naidu to a tete-a-tete at the Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule Bhavan in Hyderabad. The meeting is scheduled for 6th June based on the availability of the two CMs.

This will be the most significant political meeting between the two CMs of the Telugu state in recent years. Earlier, when Jagan and KCR used to meet between 2019-23, it was mostly for casual reasons, but this time Naidu and Revanth are putting their states’ interest on the foreground.
