After Tadepalli, It’s Kakinada: ‘Kootami’ Showing Stars

The newly formed ‘Kootami’ government in Andhra Pradesh, comprising the TDP and Janasena along with the BJP is taking decisive actions against the illegal encroachments and constructions carried out by leaders and supporters of the previous YSRCP government. This crackdown is seen as a direct response to the widespread allegations of corruption and land grabbing against the former regime.

The other day in Kakinada, the alliance government has initiated the demolition of illegal constructions linked to former YSRCP MLA Dwarampudi and his associate Balla Suribabu, signalling its intent to hold the previous administration accountable for its actions. This move comes on the heels of the demolition of illegally constructed YSRCP party offices across the state including the one at Tadepalli recently.

The alliance government’s actions have raised concerns within the YSRCP, with the party’s leaders questioning the legitimacy of these demolitions. However, the alliance maintains that it is merely enforcing the law and addressing the grievances of the people who suffered under the YSRCP’s alleged misrule, literally showing stars to the former MLAs who worked like dictators earlier.

Though the alliance leaders, CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan have earlier confirmed that they are not going to harass the previous government’s electives like how YS Jagan did, they have also stated that the law will do its course, which otherwise doing wrong will become a routine habit for some offenders.
