YSRCP president and former CM of Andhra Pradesh seems to be very distraught and impatient after the crushing defeat in the recent assembly elections in which his party managed to win only 11 seats out of 175. His frustration is evident in all his media interactions right from the one which he addressed on the day of results last month.
The latest incident which makes it clear that he is very indignant for not able to retain power for the second term is his senseless counterattack on Chandrababu Naidu’s government when he visited RIMS hospital in Kadapa to console a YSRCP supporter who was allegedly injured by TDP followers.
Jagan alleged that the mid-day meal is not being implemented in an efficient manner due to which several children were admitted in the hospital. He also fired for not supplying bags to school children on time and warned Naidu for encouraging vendetta politics.
Going by his wild allegations, it looks like Jagan wants to project as if everything turned so worse in just a few days after Naidu came to power. He is trying to portray that his government handled adminstration in an efficient manner, but the new government destroyed everything in quick time.
But many believe that Jagan has been talking through hat from the past few days after losing power in an embarrassing manner. His allegations and illogical statements are making him a laughing stock because the new government should be given ample time before judging their efficiency. It has just now started to identify the irregularities committed during Jagan’s rule and taking steps to set right everything. So, Jagan should wait with patience if he wants to comment on their decisions and policies.
On the day of results, Jagan said he lost despite delivering his best to Andhra Pradesh and its people. Later, he advocated the use of ballot papers instead of EVMs and indirectly refused the denial of public trust on his rule. The supporters of NDA alliance made fun of these statements and called him a hypocrite.
Very recently, he made shocking comments on his former MLA Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy, who was arrested for vandalising EVM on the day of election. He defended the criminal activity committed by Pinnelli and drew huge backlash from all quarters.
