Former YCP MLA blames Jagan for his defeat

While many supporters and several leaders of YSR Congress party are still scratching their heads to find out the reasons for the demoralising defeat in the recent assembly elections of Andhra Pradesh, only a few of them came out in public to openly admit that they were defeat solely for the glaring mistakes committed in the last five years when Jagan Mohan Reddy was the Chief Minister of the state.

With days passing on, some leaders of YSRCP are slowly coming out to speak up the facts in front of the media. Former MLA from Chodavaram constituency, Karanam Dharmasri is the latest one to join the list.

In his recent press interaction, Dharmasri outrightly blamed party president Jagan Mohan Reddy for his defeat. He openly stated that the party lost these elections only because they failed to rectify the mistakes in governance and system in five years.

He further alleged that he lost because Jagan pay heed to his repeated requests about roads and other infrastructure in his constituency. He said the potholes on BN highway were left unattended for many months which is why he was defeated with a huge margin.

Dharmasri stated that he spent his own money for repairing roads as the government didn’t allot any funds to his constituency. He was uncertain about getting his money back from the new government. He instructed all his mandal level and village level leaders to take part in government related activities even if they are not invited by the current MLAs and MPs.
