Anakapalle Minor Girl Murder: Accused Found Dead

The accused in the murder of a ninth-grade girl in Anakapalle district has committed suicide in Andhra Pradesh, sparking widespread attention. Many netizens are commenting that criminals will not be spared under the Andhra Pradesh government, particularly after Chandra Babu Naidu took office.

Details reveal that on the 6th of this month, Suresh brutally killed the girl by slitting her throat and then fled. Police had mobilized 12 teams over the past four days to search for Suresh, offering a cash reward of Rs. 50,000 for information leading to his capture. However, Suresh had already taken his own life. His body was discovered in Koppu Gundu Palem of Rambilli mandal.

The victim, a student at Rambilli Zilla Parishad High School, had returned home from school in the evening. Shortly thereafter, Suresh was seen leaving her house by her grandmother, who then found the girl in a pool of blood. Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors confirmed she had succumbed to her injuries.

Suresh, originally from Kashinkota, had been residing near his grandmother’s house in Koppugundupalem and had been harassing the girl. A year ago, her family had filed a complaint against him, resulting in a case under the POCSO Act.

Recently released on bail, Suresh sought revenge and carried out the fatal attack on the girl.
