One of the biggest reasons why Nara Lokesh emerged as a successful politician is because he is very accessible to not just his party cadre but also to general public. While in opposition, he maintained strong relations with the lower rung cadre in all areas and regularly kept in contact with them despite his busy schedules to clear their grievances. During his election campaign, Lokesh assured people that he would resolve their issues after coming to power.
Even after he won as MLA in Mangalagiri and was once again inducted into cabinet as IT and HRD minister, Lokesh continues to accord top priority to dispose public grievances which are brought to his notice. His ‘Praja Darbar’ has been receiving an overwhelming response from all quarters of the state. Every day hundreds of people have been meeting him in Amaravati for redressal of their problems.
Lokesh is even responding to public grievances which are received through WhatsApp messages. Even before becoming a minister, Lokesh gave his official number to all his followers for reaching out whenever there is any public compliant relating to the government. Now, he has been receiving thousands of messages daily and Lokesh is disposing them efficiently through his team of officers.
Due to over flooding of requests, his WhatsApp has been blocked earlier today due to technical issues. Lokesh himself revealed this development and informed to his followers that he will continue to address their problems. He requested them not to send messages in WhatsApp, but instead send an email to his personal id hello.lokesh@ap.gov.in.
Lokesh said he created this email based on the response he got for ‘Hello Lokesh’ Padayatra when he toured hundreds of kilometres all over the state last year. Lokesh asked the people of AP to send their problems to this email with name, mobile no and address.
