FBI Identifies Suspect in Trump Assassination Attempt

Published by

The recent assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump has been identified by the FBI. The suspect, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, is under heavy police surveillance at his residence.

Crooks, a registered Republican supporter who donated to the Democratic-affiliated Progressive Turnout Project in 2021, allegedly expressed anti-Republican sentiments in a pre-shooting video circulating on social media.

The attack occurred 130 yards away from Trump’s stage at a manufacturing facility roof. Secret Service agents swiftly responded, subduing Crooks. The FBI is conducting a thorough investigation and seeks rally attendees to provide any pertinent information.
