‘Vizag Files’ to expose YSRCP’s land mafia

Vizag Files

Did you remember ‘The Kashmir Files’, a controversial film that exposed the heart-wrenching ordeal of Kashmiri pandits during the 90s. Just how this film laid bare some of the unknown facts to the people of the country, the government of Andhra Pradesh will soon expose the land mafia of the previous regime under YSRCP in Vishakapatnam through ‘Vizag Files’.

Popular politician from Vizag and Bheemili MLA from TDP Ghanta Srinivas Rao stated during his recent press interaction that the YSRCP has resorted to so many glaring irregularities in the city during its five year tenure from 2019-2024. He alleged that YSRCP leaders colluded with top bureaucrats in the government to encroach thousands of acres of land in Vishakapatnam which was proposed as the executive capital of the state by the then Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy under his three capital formula.

Ghanta Srinivas Rao revealed that the land mafia was rampant during the previous government’s rule and also made shocking allegations that all these atrocities were committed at the behest of the then Chief Secretary to the state. Ghanta further said that all wrongdoings will be exposed with proofs very soon. He added that the present government is talking proper steps to end the menace of land mafia in the city.

It may be remembered that Ghanta Srinivas Rao was the one behind the exposure of the controversial ‘Rushikonda Palace’ in Vizag last month. He now wants to divulge how YSRCP leaders resorted to encroachment of government and public lands with the use of power.

There were several allegations during the last five years on Jagan’s close aide and MP Vijay Sai Reddy who worked as incharge of Vizag parliament. Several reports were published how the YSRCP acquired thousands of acres in and around Vizag before the announcement of three capitals.
