Now, Pemmasani starts making a mark as Minister

Central Ministers from Andhra Pradesh have been doing a great job ever since they were inducted into Narendra Modi’s 3.0 cabinet after the NDA alliance secured power in the 2024 Loksabha elections. It is a known fact that three MPs representing our state have found coveted portfolios in the cabinet this time as TDP was a key coalition partner of the BJP.

While Srikakulam MP Ram Mohan Naidu is in the thick of things immediately after taking oath as Civil Aviation Minister by putting concerted efforts to bring more airports to the state, Narsapuram MP Srinivas Varma, who is the minister of state for Heavy Industries and Steel, is trying his best to revive the fortunes of Vishakapatnam Steel Plant.

Now, Guntur MP Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, who is the minister of state for communications, also started making a mark with his proactive approach and quick reaction to redress a public grievance.

As per reports, Pemmasani wrote to Indian Railways to restore two trains between Vijayawada and Gudur route which were cancelled due to doubling and signalling works. As the railway department suspended two trains between this route to complete the works, passengers of Bapatla – Tenali route have been facing numerous difficulties to shuttle between different places.

Pemmasani Chandrasekhar came to know about the inconvenience caused to passengers and immediately wrote a letter to the railway GM of South Central Railway to address the issue. Acting on his letter, the GM instructed his authorities to immediately resume the two trains.

Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, an NRI who owns numerous businesses in the USA, returned to India a few months before the elections and won as Guntur MP with a thumping majority. He is the richest MP in our country.
