Three Capitals Agitation @ Rs 25 lacs

Published by

The strange complaint on Rajyasabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy and his controversial press meet on the issue seem to have opened a can of worms which could put him and the YSR Congress party in an embarrassing situation.

Firstly, some of the leading media houses launched a massive campaign targeting Vijay Sai Reddy by revealing so many unknown facts on how he misused his position to help the lady government officer Kalingiri Shanthi when he was in Vizag. Later, former YSRCP MLA Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy disclosed that Sai Reddy badly abused Jagan at a time in the past.

Now, another shocking truth pertaining to the malafide agenda of YSR Congress party has been revealed. This is regarding the three capitals agitation that was undertaken as counter campaign to the historical Amaravati farmers protests.

Social Democratic Front State President Gurunadham, who spearheaded the three capitals agitation movement in 2022, disclosed that Vijay Sai Reddy and YV Subba Reddy promised him 25 lakhs cash, one car, land and a nominated post to lead the campaign as a counter to Amaravati farmers who were protesting against the idea of three capitals. He said

Gurunadham made these shocking allegations during his press interaction with a leading news channel. He made scathing remarks on Vijay Sai Reddy and called for cancellation of his bail immediately. Gurunadham said he will file a PIL in court to cancel Sai Reddy’s bail and arrest him.

These revelations make it clear that the three capitals agitation was a paid campaign by YSRCP to overshadow the protests of Amaravati farmers which was gaining prominence at that time.
