Letter To Modi On Viveka Murder: Will Jagan Do It?

Published by

It has been a month since the TDP+ government has fully assumed duties in Andhra Pradesh and the new ecosystem is busy on establishing its hold on the law and order, administrative, and governance wings of the government. However, the opposition outfit, YCP has been crying foul about the prevalent law and order condition in AP.

Strangely, after the police department confirmed that the recent hacking-to-death incident in Vinukonda is a personal rift and there is no political angle to it, ex CM Jagan Reddy is on his way to console the family of the bereaved. YCP has been claiming that a TDP activists has hacked YCP activist to death. Jagan going to Vinukonda signifies the narrative.

On this topic, the home minister of AP, Anitha mentioned that the AP public hasn’t yet forgotten the negative repercussions of the YCP government.

“Has Jagan forgotten the killing of Dr Sudhakar, the torture faced by Sunitha after her father and Jagan’s uncle Vivekananda Reddy was murdered? Jagan is writing to PM Modi about the prevailing situation in AP. Why didn’t he write a letter to Modi about Viveka’s murder and call for investigation in the five years that he was the CM, How was he so careless about his own Babai’s murder. What he is doing now is a clear case of public manipulation.” Anitha said.

The point raised by Anitha is that Jagan must first react on the murder of his own uncle Viveka before politicizing an unrelated incident recently. While this is a valid point, the chances of Jagan actually acting on it are low.
