The one-stop portal for all land and property related transactions, Dharani website has been officially launched by Telangana CM KCR. This pet project of KCR has a motto is to provide accountability and safe and hassle-free citizen services for land registrations, mutations and transfer.
At Muduchintalapalli village in Medchal-Malkajgiri district, this launch event was held and speaking here KCR said, this Dharani website will become a trend-setter in the country and many states will follow in the coming years like how Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha became popular.
“Once upon a time, there used to be many land disputes and lands of farmers were encroached and threatened. In order to regularise all the lands in the state, we brought Dharani portal. We introduced many reforms in revenue law. Some of them have shown good results while some did not. With this portal, anyone can register their land in the website if they have the original documents,” said KCR.
“Dharani website will provide absolute protection to the lands of farmers and so far we have the data of 1,45,58,000 acers of land in the website. Even NRIs can register their details of land in this website and hereafter there will be no illegal registrations in Telangana,” added KCR.
