Nara Lokesh is extremely agitated about Sakshi Media and he is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that this YCP-reliant media house faces the heat. In tune with this, he is taking Sakshi to court in a criminal defamation case today.
Lokesh will be arriving at the 12th Additional Court in Vizag shortly as he is set to partake in the hearing of the defamation case he filed against Sakshi back in 2019.
Earlier, in 2019, Sakshi Media sent out a newspaper report claiming that the then ex-minister Nara Lokesh spent Rs 25 lakh on snacks at Vizag Airport. Agitated by this, Lokesh filed a criminal defamation case to the tune of Rs 75 crore at the Vizag court. He claimed that Sakshi filed a false report to defame his public image and charted a court case which is in procession now.
The court has called for a hearing on the case today and Lokesh is attending the same. Sakshi is bound to give a legal explanation to their media report. Or else, they might have to pay up in upwards of Rs 75 crore in this hugely controversial defamation case.
