For the first time, the government of Andhra Pradesh is getting directly involved with the property disputes issue between Jagan Mohan Reddy and YS Sharmila. Interestingly, it is Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan who is getting himself involved with the proceedings.
As per media reports, Deputy CM Pawan who is also the forestry minister has asked the concerned authorities to identify if there are any forest lands attached to the Saraswati Power company that is the focal point of Jagan-Sharmila war.
The Saraswati Power Company is in possession of a whopping 1515.93 acres in Dachepalli. There are claims that this mega extent of land has bits of forest lands and government lands, including water bodies.
Forest Minister Pawan Kalyan has received a high-level report on the possible presence of forest lands in the bit that is allocated to the Saraswati Power Company. How were these lands allocated to the private company by the AP government in the first place? This is the question that is being raised by Pawan.
If the deputy CM proceeds to initiate court proceedings on the possibility of encroachments of forestry lands, then this company and the transactions associated with it also could be in big trouble.
