Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh is on a mission to attract foreign investments to the state. He is currently touring the USA with this agenda and is working briskly to make it all happen.
On his second day on US soil, Lokesh happened to be super busy as he met several potential suitors for investments in AP, and at the same time patiently posed to the cameras with the 200+ people who came to meet him. Reportedly, Lokesh partook in a brief photoshoot session at the Four Seasons Hotel where he was staying at in San Francisco.
Shortly after, Lokesh got on the main quest as he met with Google’s CTO Prabhakar Raghavan, General Atomics CEO Vivek Lal, General Catalysts MD Neeraj Arora, and others.
Lokesh meticulously explained the new investment-friendly and speed-of-doing-business mechanisms that are newly enforced in Andhra Pradesh. This is in a bid to invite potential investors to the state by offering best-in-class opportunities and incentives on behalf of the state government.
All in all, Lokesh had a busy day 2 in San Francisco as he ticked two key boxes – energizing the TDP cadres locally and more importantly, inviting potential investments.
