The four IAS officers reassigned to Andhra Pradesh were given posting in the residuary state.
Amrapali Kata was posted as the managing director of the AP Tourism department. In addition, she also has been given the responsibility as the CEO of the Tourism Authority.
Vani Prasad has been posted as the principal secretary of the labour department.
Vakati Karuna was given posting as the commissioner of the medical and health department. She also has been given additional duties as the director of the National Health Mission. Naik has been relieved from the additional duties of the labour department.
Vani Mohan has been shifted as the commissioner of the archaeological department. She will also be the principal secretary of the General Administration Department (GAD). Orders were issued to Pola Bhaskar relieving him from the GAD.
The above four IAS officers from Telangana and three from Andhra Pradesh approached the Telangana High Court urging that they be allowed to stay back in their respective states, in opposition to the orders of the Centre on their cadre transfer.
The IAS officers posted to Telangana from Andhra Pradesh include Ch Hari Kiran, Srijana Gummala and siva Sankar Lotheti.
All the seven IAS officers challenged the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) orders before the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) requesting that interim orders be issued retaining them in the cadres they were existing then. They also urged that the CAT should ask the DoPT to revoke its orders.
