After YV Subba Reddy, YCP senior leader and TTD former chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has come into the open defending YCP boss and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and said that he had already parted with the rightful share in the family assets to his sister and APCC chief Y.S. Sharmila.
He accused Sharmila of behaving in such a way that would directly support TDP supremo and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. It is because of the devious means being practised by Sharmila that she has become a lone warrior both in politics and in her family.
Jagan Mohan Reddy promised to give 40 per cent of assets from that he had earned and did accordingly, Bhumana said.
This statement is in response to Sharmila’s accusations that Jagan had been doing injustice to her and her two children. She even charged Jagan with violating the mandate of their father and former CM late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who, she said, had insisted on equitable share of the family assets among the four grandchildren.
Bhumana reminded that Jagathi Publications and its related firms had been attached to the ED.
The YCP leader reminded that Jagan got ready to give properties to Sharmila after 20 years of her marriage, which means all the assets are his personal properties. “But, the yellow media is trying to publicise that all the assets are not Jagan’s personal properties but the family’s joint assets,” he said and added that this argument will not stand in the long term.
He slammed Sharmila for trying to play a prominent role in Chandrababu Naidu’s conspiracy. Just as YSR’s loyalists, even the YCP cadre is also pained to know that you are acting as a puppet in the hands of Naidu. “We are appalled to know that Jagan Mohan Reddy has such a sister.”
At the same time, Bhumana said that he has affection towards Sharmila, for being YSR’s daughter. He said that he was speaking these few words owing to the long bonding with YSR family for the last 49 years.
Bhumana gave a clean chit to Jagan and said that Sharmila was conspiring with the TDP, which is planning to bring disrepute to YSR.
He faulted Sharmila of trying to take advantage of her mother YS Vijayamma’s ignorance and get Saraswati Power shares in her name and thus, try to ensure that Jagan’s bail plea also gets dismissed.
After doing all this mischief, Sharmila is trying to put up a clean image by breaking down in the public.
Sharmila handed over all the letters and MoUs relating to the property distribution to the TDP and they have already put up all these on their website. Even before Sharmila could reveal the details to the public, the TDP had already put up all the secrets on their website.
He accused Chandrababu Naidu of not being able to fulfil at least one promise he made during the husting. Hence, he is playing up one or the other issue every month, as part of diversion politics, Bhumana added.
It may be recalled that YCP senior leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu termed Sharmila as ‘Chandranna vadilina baanam’ and now, Bhumana is also tried to imply the same through the accusations.
