Andhra Pradesh Minister of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, and Human Resources Development, Nara Lokesh, is on a mission mode to make the state a investors’ paradise in the next few years.
After announcing collaboration with one of India’s biggest tech giants, Tata Consultancy Services ( TCS), which agreed to set up its establishment in Vizag a few days ago, Lokesh embarked on an ambitious trip to United States of America last week with an aim to draw the attention of global investors, entrepreneurs and technology behemoths towards Andhra Pradesh.
Having visited the headquarters of Tesla in Austin and interacting with the CFO and other executives, Lokesh now met the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella in Washington. It is a known fact that Satya Nadella hails from Andhra Pradesh and belongs to Guntur district. It will be a big boost for Andhra Pradesh IT sector if companies like Microsoft sets up development centres in any major cities here.

Lokesh’s US trip is turning out to be very fruitful because he is making solid efforts to attract foreign investments. He already announced that an aviation university and data centre will be established in Vizag in collaboration with foreign companies. He is very determined to project Vizag as the global hub for investments.
