During a recent visit to Jagannadhapuram village in Eluru district, Pawan Kalyan openly criticized YCP leaders and expressed frustration over their continued antagonism. While participating in a free gas cylinder distribution program, he lashed out at YCP’s behavior, warning that he may not stay silent forever.
Pawan remarked, “We will criticize you on social media, and if necessary, we will respond to your provocations.”
Pawan reflected on his previous silence, saying, “I have held back for the past four months, giving the benefit of the doubt, but this government is not weak. If you push, be prepared for a firm response. I’ve always said that if you want a fight, I will respond in kind – but let it be a conflict that promotes development and safety.”
In his speech, Pawan criticized YCP for questioning his motives and hinted at his preference for constructive, people-centered politics. He spoke about his commitment to improving local infrastructure, noting that he had secured promises from the collector for road repairs and modernization from the base of the IS Jagannadhapuram village up to the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple.
He announced, “The Endowments Department will develop two and a half stories of Prakaram, a Mandapam, and the Gali Gopuram around the temple. A protective wall will also be built with an investment of two crores.”
Pawan further shared his deep personal connection with the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, recalling his visit 14 years ago and a prayer for the state’s prosperity. “In 2009, I sought strength here to serve the people,” he said.
“While the journey has been challenging, today, I see the results of that prayer, and I draw strength from the support of the NDA government.”
Pawan also expressed concern for the safety of YS Sharmila, YS Jagan’s sister, and pledged that his alliance would protect her from potential threats. He also issued a warning against forces that attempt to incite caste and communal conflicts, emphasizing that any actions harming societal harmony would face serious consequences.
