YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his supporters will have to face the embarassment of the shameful defeat in recent assembly elections for the next five years.
Ever since the election results came out in June, there has been severe trolling from the followers of NDA government over the YSRCP’s 11 seats. Numerous trolls and memes keep floating on social media all over regularly.
Meanwhile, the legislative assembly sessions are set to resume shorty during which the first budget of the new government will be tabled by finance minister Payyavula Keshav.
Interestingly, the sessions will kick off from November 11th with the state budget set to announced on the very first day. Besides introducing the budget, the government is planning to table 11 crucial bills during these sessions.
Assembly speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu, who has been frequently teasing YS Jagan and his party MLAs to attend the house and take part in a healthy discussion over government policies, once again made humourous remarks to poke the YSR Congress party. He appealed to all NDA MLAs and 11 YSRCP MLAs to attend these sessions which will be held for 11 days.
The timing of the budget sessions along with the number of bills to be introduced coincides with ’11’ and this is likely to poke Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party further as they have already skipped the first two sessions fearing sharp criticism and trolling in the house by NDA MLAs.
Jagan Mohan Reddy and his 10 MLAs attended the assembly only on the first day of the sessions in June to take oath after the new government came to power. There is widespread discussion in political and media circles whether Jagan dares to attend the sessions this time and face the speaker and 164 MLAs from NDA.
