Telangana politics are often stooping down beyond acceptable lines when it comes to verbal warfare. In one such new development, CM Revanth and BRS working president KTR have indulged in a heated verbal exchange.
Yesterday, CM Revanth said KCR will face a dog-like death if he tries to obstruct the Musi beautification project. “If you(KCR) try to halt Musi development which is directly linked to the wellbeing of thousands of families, you will face the death of a dog.” Revanth’s exact words were “Kukka saavu sasthav KCR”.
In response to this seemingly harsh statement from CM Revanth, BRS’s main man KTR didn’t hold back as he gave an earful to the CM.
“When you were an errand boy, carrying slippers for political favors, he resigned from his position, for the people of TELANGANA! When your hands carried “Bags” to destabilize Telangana, his heart charted a course for a state that would make history” KTR stated.
KTR further added “A joker like you(Revanth) may think you can abuse him and erase his name from the history? As long as there is TELANGANA, there is KCR.”
KTR closed out his statement by saying “think again, Cheap Minister Revanth!.” He was reciprocatively aggressive while replying to Revanth.
While verbal warfare is a part and parcel of politics, the fact that CM Revanth and KTR are indulging in objectionable vocabulary to hurt each other is not a good sign, remarked a neutral observer. Social media folk are calling for better and more socially acceptable vocabulary from both the leaders as words like Kukka Savu and Cheap Minister don’t bode well with modern polished society.
