Chaganti For Student Ethics & Values, Good List By Naidu

Published by

More than a month after releasing the first list of Nominated Posts with 86 names including 20 Chairmans to different corporations, the government of Andhra Pradesh led by NDA parties under TDP president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced the second list which featured 59 names for various boards.

Just like how the first list balanced different social and political equations to honour the alliance partners, the second list also included names from all three parties, TDP, JSP and BJP and also has a surprising and notable inclusion in the form of Chaganti Koteswara Rao, a renowned orator who is popular among Telugus for his discourses.

Out of the 59 posts, as expected TDP got the lion’s share with 49 of them going to the largest party in the alliance. Janasena got 9 posts and BJP secured one prominent post.

The government has named two advisors which have the position of a cabinet rank. While one of them is seasoned TDP from Narsapur, Mohammad Shariff, who will head the Minority Affairs and the other one is Chaganti Koteswara Rao for Student Ethics and Values. Appointing a non-controversial and proficient personality like Chaganti for nurturing ethics and moral values for students is a really an appreciable move.

Other prominent TDP leaders who were honoured by the government are hard-core supporters like GV Reddy as chairman for AP fibre net corporation and Komareddy Pattabhi Ram as chairman for Swach Andhra Pradesh Mission. Kavali Greeshma got elevated as chairman for AP women’s Co-op finance. All these three leaders were very vocal in fighting against the YSRCP during the last five years.

Janasena leaders like Chilakapudi Papa Rao from Repalle ( Chairman for Agni Kula Kshatriya welfare and development board), V. Surya Narayana Raju ( AP Kshatriya Welfare board chairman), Kotapalli Subba Rayudu (AP State Kapu welfare and development board chairman) have been included in the second list.

Many other TDP leaders like Tenthu Lakshmi Naidu, Sunjay Krishna Ranga Rao, Gandi Babji, Mannav Mohan Krishna, Palvai Yashaswi have been recognised for various significant posts.
