Former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently on his customary weekly trip to Andhra Pradesh, and he had some sharp words for Chandrababu Naidu. Not stopping there, Jagan went on to defend Ram Gopal Varma and even addressed the term “Bose DK.”
Regarding RGV, Jagan questioned the need for the AP police to file cases against him. “RGV made films that were certified by the censor board and then released in theaters. What’s the point in filing cases against him now? Didn’t your TDP guys make the film Vivekam against me?” Jagan said.
Jagan implied that RGV’s abusive and trolling films against Chandrababu, Lokesh, and Pawan are not to be taken seriously. The fact that an ex-CM came down to defend RGV, who had been making propaganda and A-rated films, wasn’t expected by many.
Jagan then referred to the time when TDP spokesperson Pattabhi referred to him as “Bose DK.” This isn’t the first time he has used this term either. Jagan has reportedly spoken about it before, which is an unbecoming practice for an ex-CM.
Going further, Jagan targeted Chandrababu’s family again: “Did Chandrababu bring his parents in front of the media anytime? Does anyone in the state know who Chandrababu’s parents are? Did he feed them at least once after he became CM? Or did he at least light their pyre after they passed away?”
Jagan’s media meet seemed a bit scattered today, as he tried too hard to paint a negative image of Chandrababu, which turned out to be preachy and ineffective, remarked a political analyst.
