Director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) is known for his straightforward and radical attitude, which has earned him a loyal fanbase. However, his recent actions have left his fans worried and questioning the fearless persona he projects through his words.
Recently, a case was filed at Ongole Rural Police Station against RGV for making derogatory comments about Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh during the promotions of his film, Vyooham. A few days ago, he was summoned for questioning but requested additional time, which he was granted.
Following this, RGV approached the court to seek dismissal of the case, but his efforts were unsuccessful. He was scheduled to attend questioning today but skipped it again. This prompted the Ongole police to visit his residence in Hyderabad to take him into custody. However, he was reportedly not at home and is believed to have gone into hiding. Through his lawyer, RGV sent a notice requesting virtual questioning after two weeks. Despite this, he has yet to make any public statements.
Known for his outspoken and daring personality, RGV has often portrayed himself as an unapologetic and fearless figure. However, his avoidance of police questioning has left his fans disillusioned. Many feel this behavior contradicts the bold image he has cultivated over the years.
