YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has largely been splitting his time between Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh since the state elections, spending the majority of his days in Bengaluru while visiting AP for just two days each week. However, it appears that the people of AP will see more of Jagan only after the upcoming Sankranthi season, likely by the end of January 2025.
In a today’s meeting with YCP leaders at the Tadepalli camp office, Jagan revealed plans to kickstart a constituency-wise tour across Andhra Pradesh after Sankranthi. He confirmed that the tour will focus on all 175 assembly constituencies in the state.
Jagan intends to cover 3-4 constituencies per day, engaging with local cadres in a relaxed, yet thorough manner. The primary goal of the tour will be to gather feedback and insights from the grassroots level. He will allocate Wednesdays and Thursdays each week specifically for interactions with party cadres and leaders in the constituencies.
This marks Jagan’s first major public engagement since the election results, and it will take nearly six months for him to step out more consistently. Thus, the people of AP can expect to see a lot more of their chief minister beginning from the Sankranthi season, with Jagan set to reconnect with the state’s leadership and citizens in early 2025.
