A couple of months back, the audience got to witness NTR’s Devara on the big screens. This action film is based on illegal smuggling that happens through ships as weapons and anti-social elements are trafficked into the country. NTR plays savior – Devara in the film as he stops the bad guys and restores justice by halting the smuggling operations in an imposing manner.
Incidentally, the Telugu population is now witnessing this Devara story in real life now, courtesy of deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. Wonder how? Here’s a look into it.
Going into the story, Pawan had been firmly battling against the illegal smuggling activities at Kakinada Port that were allegedly set in motion by ex MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy in the YCP tenure. After NDA stormed to power and Pawan became deputy CM, there were clear attempts to curb the smuggling operations, mainly the illicit ration rice export activities.
But after identifying that the illegal activities are still being carried out even to date, Pawan got on the ground and made his imposing presence felt. He reprimanded the local TDP MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao about the illegal activities here and mandated expedited action in this regard.
“If you are unable to stop rice smuggling, then what is the security level of this port? How can you stop a Kasab from entering the port and smuggle weapons in the future?” Pawan questioned on a serious note.
Pawan then instructed the port authorities and local SP to follow up on the issue and submit him a detailed report. He appears to be hell bent on putting an end to these activities at the earliest. With the deputy CM himself in action, the most consolidated efforts are bound to be taken starting today.
From last few hours Pawan’s Photos and videos from Kakinada port are shaking socialmedia and Pawan fans and Janasainiks are on could9 seeing their real hero.
While NTR played a savior in Devara by standing against smuggling activities, Pawan is emulating something similar in real life, to a much bigger impact. While Pawan has slowed down with regard to film shootings, he is now giving his followers goosebumps in real life with these heroic acts. The efforts to stop rice smuggling activities at Kakinada Port could essentially make Pawan a real life hero.
