After criticizing Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, YCP MP V. Vijayasai Reddy appreciated Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, apparently playing the role of mythological ‘Narada’.
In a latest tweet, the YCP MP felt that he believes Dy CM Pawan Kalyan is the most ideal person amongst the leaders of the NDA ruling parties in Andhra Pradesh to lead and represent AP.
Further, he even defended his feelings on why Pawan Kalyan is the best choice. “AP is a young state and cannot be led by an almost 75 year old Senile Gentleman who is acting up.”
Vijay Sai Reddy’s statements could hurt the feelings of TDP activists and even wedge difference between the TDP and Jana Sena activists, who are working in unison for the development of the state.
Apparently, Sai Reddy is playing the role of mythological character, Narada, who frequently tries to pitch individuals against each other, by making controversial statements that could hurt the sentiments of either of the parties.
The TDP and Jana Sena, along with the BJP, are in a coalition in Andhra Pradesh and in such a scenario, Sai Reddy’s statements are unwarranted.
The YCP MP could have forgotten how active the 74-year-old Chief Minister had been in ensuring rehabilitation works reached the needy, during the recent floods in Vijayawada.
Naidu even walked in knee-deep water to enquire about the safety of the people. Remaining awake for more than 18 hours in a day, he co-ordinated the relief works during the crisis period. Sai Reddy should think twice before making such derogatory statements against the able administrator and troubleshooter.
Earlier, Sai Reddy even threatened to put Naidu behind the bars once the YCP comes to power next time.
By making such statements frequently, the YCP leaders are displaying their lack of courtesy and manners in the public. Age and personal traits can never be reversed or changed.
Even when in power, a YCP senior leader also repeatedly raised the issue of Naidu’s age and went to the extent of asking him to die than live shamefully, a TDP leader reminded.
Sai Reddy should also remember that he is a sexagenarian and in the next few years, he will also be a septuagenarian, a TDP leader said.
