Icon star Allu Arjun has been arrested, and he is currently undergoing a medical examination at Gandhi Hospital. According to media reports, he will soon be produced under the Nampally court. Meanwhile, KTR reacted harshly, saying that the government is acting partially. BJP MLA Raja Singh also reacted and reportedly Revanth Reddy also reacted in this issue. It looks like the case is getting decorated with the political colors. While the BJP leaders and BRS leaders are supporting Allu Arjun and blaming the Congress government, it is clear that the opposition is also making use of the situation to project their attack on the ruling government.
KTR said that the government should not treat Allu Arjun as a common criminal. KTR also argued that Revanth Reddy should also be arrested.
Meanwhile, Raja Singh said, “The tragic stampede incident is a glaring failure of the police department, not the fault of National Award-winning star @alluarjun, who has brought immense pride to the Telugu states with his accolades and achievements. Holding him accountable for something he isn’t directly responsible for is both unjust and unwarranted. Instead of addressing the systemic issues and lapses in crowd management, targeting a celebrated icon reflects poorly on the administration. The Congress government must introspect and ensure accountability lies where it truly belongs – with those responsible for maintaining public safety. Allu Arjun deserves respect for his contributions, not treatment befitting a criminal.”
Bandi Sanjay tweeted, “National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun, lifted straight from his bedroom without even being given time to change, is a disgraceful act of mismanagement and disrespect. A star of his stature, who brought global recognition to Indian cinema, deserved better treatment. The tragic death of a woman in the stampede at Sandhya theatre is deeply unfortunate, but it only underscores the Congress government’s failure to manage the massive crowd. After the phenomenal success of Pushpa: The Rise, fans had high hopes for Pushpa: The Rule, and the massive turnout was expected given his popularity. The real failure lies in the Congress government’s inability to ensure proper arrangements for such a high-profile event. This negligence and mishandling are unacceptable. Icon Star and his fans deserve dignity, not chaos.”
Reportedly, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy stated that he will not be involving in the case and also won’t have a say. “Since the death happened, the police is acting according to the law,” said Revanth Reddy.
