‘We Have Nothing Personal Against Allu Arjun’

The arrest of Allu Arjun has sparked political debates and a change in the discourse surrounding the issue. Social media platforms are filled with criticism of the Telangana government over the matter.

Meanwhile, some social media users have been making comments critical of the Telangana government, suggesting that the government is acting with a specific agenda against the Allu Arjun. Central ministers from the BJP also joined the conversation, with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw tweeting extensively, blaming the state’s inefficiency for the incident and accusing the Congress-led government of dismantling the police system. State BJP leaders echoed similar sentiments.

In response to these developments, Minister Seethakka clarified that the government holds no personal grudge against Allu Arjun. She stated that the tragic incident involving the woman’s death during a stampede was being handled by the law, and that the law would take its course.

She emphasized that the law applies equally to everyone and there was no interference from the government or ministers in the matter. Seethakka also urged that the issue should not be viewed politically and called for leaving the matter at that.

Additionally, on Friday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, in two separate statements, reiterated the same stance. He clarified that neither he nor his ministers had interfered in the case, and that the police were acting according to the law.

He stressed that the law is neutral and applies to all. Despite these clarifications, criticism of the police and the government continues to persist on social media.
