The stage is being firmly prepared for the prosecution of former IT Minister KTR in the Formula E case. The ACB has already filed an FIR on this matter, and the latest reports are suggesting that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also on the verge of getting involved with the case.
In view of this intense legal action that awaits him, KTR has now moved with Telangana High Court on this matter as he sought to quash the FIR filed by ACB against him.
The High Court passed the judgement on the quash petition, and there are two notable outcomes from the same.
The court instructed the authorities not to arrest KTR in this case for a period of 10 days. But at the same time, the authorities can carry on with the investigation process without any legal recourse.
So what this essentially means is that KTR is out of the danger of being arrested for a period of 10 days, but in the meanwhile the investigation agencies will carry on with the investigation and continue to secure evidence against him, if there is any.HC Judgement: One Sweet News, One Hot News For KTR
