This is known that former cabinet minister, Perni Nani finds himself in the middle of a legal enquiry over the missing PDS rice bags. This consolidated case is tightening around Nani, his son Kittu and his wife Jayasudha.
Addressing the media yesterday, Nani played it safe by saying that the government is targeting his family over this matter. But at the same time, he buttered Chandrababu by saying the CM is considerate enough to not initiate police action against his wife despite being provoked by the MLAs around him.
Nani tried to play the victim card with his submissive tone on this matter. However, Telugu Desam firebrand leader JC Prabhakar Reddy was having none of it as he hit back at Nani in his own style.
Prabhakar Reddy suffered a lot during the YCP tenure when Nani was serving as the transport minister. This was precisely when the Andhra Pradesh government went excessively hard against the JC family-owned JC travels and even filed against their family members.
JC Prabhakar Reddy publicised a few flexes that had the details of the multiple cases that were filed against his family members, including his wife Uma Reddy during the YCP tenure. He clearly mentioned the 12 FIRs that were filed against his family.
“Perni Nani neekena bharya pillalu.. maaku lera…” this flexi reads. This is JC Prabhakar Reddy-mark troll on Perni Nani who tried to play the woman card by bringing his wife’s name in this PDS rice scandal.
Notably, the previous YSR Congress government had ordered seizure of 154 buses that belonged to JC travels. In the name of illegal registrations and operations, the YCP government tortured the JC family to the degree that they had to shut down the travel business. Several of these cases that were filed against the JC family are still active to this day.
