Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan also tweeted about the incredible achievement registered by cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy. The Telugu cricketer has become the youngest cricketer to score a century on Australian soil. He scripted history and the entire nation is proud of it.
However, a lot of netizens are divided about owning Nitish. While, the people of Telugu states are proud that he belong to the Telugu region, some are saying that he is a Vizagite and some argue that he belongs to Hyderabad since he plays for SRH. Pawan Kalyan posted a tweet of appreciation by claiming that he made the entire nation proud.
Pawan used the word Bharat instead of India, which in itself reveals that Pawan is also rooting for promoting Bharat more than using the word India.
“It is not which part of ‘Bharat’ you come from , but what you did for ‘Bharat.’You made our ‘Bharat’ proud. Dear ‘ Nitish Kumar Reddy,’ for making history as the youngest cricketer from Bharat to score a Test century on Australian soil. You showcased your brilliance with a remarkable knock of 114 runs in the crucial fourth Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Stadium. May you continue to achieve many more world-class records, take Bharat’s flag to greater heights, and inspire the youth to develop an interest in sports with passion and determination. Wishing Team Bharat great success in winning this series.” wrote Pawan Kalyan.
