The creative use of the “three wise monkeys” — symbolizing “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” — serves as a reminder for netizens to practice caution, kindness, and accountability in the digital world.
In this context, the government has already started to crackdown on social media abuse. Recent actions by the police have targeted individuals posting offensive content, particularly those attacking women and families. Several offenders from the previous YCP tenure have faced legal consequences, including arrests and jail time.
This is a thoughtful campaign to promote healthy usage of social media, and at the same time, educating the common folk to not miss use social platforms.
