Babu, Pawan in BJP Banner In Hyderabad: What’s Up?

Published by

It is known that the amalgamation of Telugu Desam and its allies, Janasena and BJP proved to be a hugely successful NDA alliance in the recent election. The triangular alliance absolutely swept away Andhra Pradesh from the grasp of YCP.

However, this harmonious alliance had been confined solely to Andhra Pradesh till now. In Telangana, BJP has been operating as an independent party while Telugu Desam, under Chandrababu’s leadership has been looking to regain lost glory with addition of senior leader of late.

While the alliance is obviously prevalent in Andhra Pradesh, there is no such official indication in Telangana with these three parties operating independently here.

However, in an interesting banner that surfaced in the heart of Hyderabad – Jubilee Hills junction, we see a BJP-centric banner with the images of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. While such banners are expected in Andhra Pradesh, this new banner at Jubilee Hills came as a surprise, considering these parties have not announced their alliance here in Telangana.

With the GHMC elections around the corner, and both BJP and TDP actively preparing for the same, this banner by BJP Telangana wing is leading to new theories. Is this an indication that the NDA alliance that worked wonders in AP is back in Telangana as well? Or is this just an isolated case of a banner erected without much contemplation?

But one thing that is for certain is that Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are now two of the most valued members in the NDA alliance. This can be understood if we look at the prominence they are getting on their Delhi tours while meeting union ministers.
