Rarely do we see chief ministers actively engaging with the common public on a regular basis. Barring an occasional incident here and there, chief ministers don’t usually make the time to meet and greet the common public.
But Chandrababu Naidu, in his fourth tenure as the CM is doing something out of the ordinary as he is scripting a tale of his own.
Incidentally, Chandrababu, who toured Yelamanda village of Palnadu district as a part of the pension money distribution program today, went the extra mile.
Babu prepared coffee at the residence of a commoner named Edukondalu and had it along with the latter’s family members. Point to be noted here is that this coffee was prepared with the free gas cylinder that was given as a part of the Deepam program.
“I prepared coffee on the stove at the house of Edukondalu, who received a free cooking gas cylinder through the Deepam-2 scheme, and drank it with the family. I got to know their views on the benefits that the pensions and Deepam schemes provided by the government have brought to them. I hope that the new year will bring more light to the homes of such poor people.” Babu tweeted a short while back.
Babu has made it a point to actively partake in the pension distribution program to get firsthand knowledge on the implementation of this program directly from the public. In the process, he is creating such unique and lifelong memories to commoners.
