The differences between the TDP and BJP leaders is widening in couple of constituencies. Coalition governments have their own advantages in terms of numbers but when it comes to observing restraint and limiting to boundaries, there is always an unrest underneath. Differences between activists of different parties is expected but in a unprecedented manner, leaders of the same party are constantly at loggerheads in 5-10 constituencies of Andhra Pradesh, which is causing a headache to the TDP leadership.
They are fighting for supremacy over distribution of sand and liquor.
In Madakasira and Singanamala constituencies of composite Anantapur district, Vijayawada Central and East constituencies, Guntur West and East constituencies, the TDP leaders are hurling abuses and revealing resentful behavior against each other for supremacy.
In Madakasira and Singanamala, the TDP MLAs are continuously in a conflict mode. In Vijayawada and East constituencies, though the legislators have not expressed their bitter feelings in the public, there is a cold war between them, constantly simmering as an undercurrent.
Coming to the constituencies in Guntur, the MLAs here are also making a mockery of themselves getting involved in verbal duels. In a few other constituencies, the party leaders have limited their opposition and rivalry to private spaces. As it is out of public sight, the party leadership is not much worried about these leaders.
In the wake of the public display of outrage by the rival MLAs in a few constituencies, there is every need for the TDP leadership to interfere and settle the issues but understanding that the differences cannot be sorted out, the senior leaders are maintaining a stoic silence.
