The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu has extended Sankranti wishes to the Telugu population. On the occasion, he revealed the reason why he has made it a habit to go to his hometown to celebrate Sankranti every year.
Chandrababu revealed that Sankranti is a very auspicious festival for the Telugu population and it is to be celebrated in the presence of close friends and family at hometowns. He emphasised the need to enhance human relations through customer meetings, every Sankranti festival season.
“My wife, Bhuvaneshwari was the one who first encouraged me to go to hometown NaravariPalle for Sankranthi. She insisted on going to my hometown, every festival season in order to strengthen the local bonding and a sense of togetherness. Somehow, this tradition stuck with me, and I made it a point to travel to my hometown every festival season along with my family.” Babu said.
Babu revealed that his tradition to go to NaravariPalle every Sankranthi season started some 25 years ago and it has been an enriching experience for him.
After facing extremely tough situation for the last five years in Jagan’s tenure, Chandrababu is returning to NaravariPalle as the CM for the first time since 2019.
