The infamous Kodi Pandem(cockfighting) is one of the customary traditions in the Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh. As is the case every Sankranthi season, we have observed similar situations this time around also as the Kodi Pandem phenomenon caught on extensively in the coastal pockets.
Coming to the topic now, there’s one significant development in this regard which has become a buzzing topic on social media.
Over the last one week or so, the social media space has been buzzing about this one particular match that has Rs 1 crore stake from two parties (total pool is Rs 2 crore) on one single match. This is the most significant match that was in contention this year and it had two of the biggest names in the Kodi Pandem world associated with the same.
As per the latest posts on social media, this ultra high stakes match was competed today and it got completed in just 10 minutes. The winner took home Rs 1 crore stake that belonged to his opponent.
The Kodi Pandem phenomenon is particularly prevalent in the Godavari region and this mentioned high stakes game was apparently held in the Tadepalligudem area.
